Borderlands 4 has unveiled three new SHiFT codes that players can use to get their hands on additional Golden Keys to unlock chests full of high-value loot in the looter-shooter game. Redeeming these SHiFT codes with haste should be a priority for Borderlands 4 players, as this set will only be good through September 26.
The SHiFT code system has traditionally been a way that the development team behind the Borderlands games maintains player engagement, rewarding those who not only consistently play the games, but who keep informed about the goings-on associated with them. A new set of SHiFT codes has been released every few days since Borderlands 4‘s release on September 12 on all platforms except Nintendo Switch 2, with most of the rewards leading to new Golden Keys for players.

Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford has now shared on his official Twitter account a new list of SHiFT codes that will only be available for 48 hours, making their expiration date set for September 26. The three codes, each of which will reward players with a single Golden Key in Borderlands 4, are BHRBJ-ZWHT3-W6JBK-BT3BB-CW3ZK, JSX3J-B6SBJ-CXTBC-B3T3B-BZZZT, and BHFJ3-WXHBB-W63JK-B33B3-5HX95. In order to redeem these codes and pick up their three new Golden Keys, players will need to log into the SHiFT website and enter them there.
While most SHiFT codes reward players with Golden Keys and are only available for very limited windows of time, there are a few others that offer different rewards and stick around for a bit longer than that. One such code that’s still active and can be redeemed by players who haven’t picked it up yet is JS63J-JSCWJ-CFTBW-3TJ3J-WJS5R. That code unlocks the Borderlands 4 Break Free Pack, which rewards players with the legendary Firebreak Ripper Shield and three unique Vault Hunter skins. This pack is offered as a community reward for players after they reached a goal in the game’s launch weekend, and it can be redeemed through December 31, 2030, per the game’s official website.
While more rewards are a nice surprise for players, it will be a while before players are able to collect any of them on Nintendo’s newest console. Gearbox and 2K recently confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4 has been delayed indefinitely. The Switch 2 version was initially intended to launch alongside the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC versions of the game, and the team’s difficult decision to delay its release was enacted so that Gearbox can ensure players are in for only the best possible experience while playing Borderlands 4.
